Hello, everyone. My name is Wu Zhanwen. I’m a Chinese boy. My English name is James. I’m fourteen years old. I was born and live in Haimen, Jiangsu. Haimen is a small town, but it’s very beautiful and clean. People in it are very polite, helpful and friendly. We are all nice people and Haimen is a very good place, isn’t it?
I have a happy family. There are three people in it. They are my father, my mother and me. My parents love me and I love them, too. They are also my very good friends. We always have great fun together.
I like sports, because now I am not very strong. I want to be a very strong man. I am about 1.65 metres tall. I am not very tall in my grade. I like playing every ball, but I am not very good at all of them. So I feel very sad, I need to practise them more. I’ll do more exercise.
I have many hobbies. Besides sports, I also like playing computer games and watching TV, just like most students. I like reading books. I can have fun reading books. I like traveling best. Because I want to know so many things of the world and trips make me happy. Every year, I travel to some places. I’m very happy!
Now, I am a middle school student. I am happy to be a student of Dongzhou Middle School. It is one of the best middle schools in the world. I love it very much. I’ll work hard at all the subjects. Of all the subjects, I like Maths best, and I like English, too. But I’ m doing better in Maths than in English.

Hello, everybody! My name is Michael. I’m a happy boy. Because I laugh every day. I have a big family. There are three people in my family, my mother, my father and I. My parents are managers and I’m a student. I study in Grade Seven, Class Eleven, Dongzhou Middle School. It’s a nice place. There are many students in my class. I have a good teacher, Miss Jiang.
My favorite lessons are English and Maths. I like dogs very much. I have only one dog. Its name is Doudou. It’s a pretty dog.
Oh, I forgot to tell you something about my old friend. His name is Tad. His hobby is playing basketball. So he is taller and stronger than I. He has two big eyes and long hair. He is my best friend.
