1、介紹信的定義

2、介紹信的`類型
(1)正式介紹信(formal letter introduction)
正式介紹信一般是寫信人因?yàn)楣聦⒆约罕締挝槐静块T的某人或業(yè)務(wù)關(guān)系人介紹給某單位或某個(gè)人，從而處理一些同公務(wù)有關(guān)的事宜或進(jìn)行業(yè)務(wù)接洽。這種介紹信格式要求規(guī)范、嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，語氣比較正式、莊重。
(2)非正式介紹信(informal letter of introduction)

1、介紹信的內(nèi)容
(1)被介紹人的基本情況
不管由于公事還是由于私事，介紹信應(yīng)首先介紹前去聯(lián)系的人的基本情況。所謂基本情況主要包括被介紹人的姓名、職務(wù)、與寫信人的關(guān)系等。
(2)介紹的原因和目的
向收信人說明被介紹人前往是為了開展什么工作，辦理什么事情，需要收信人給予哪些具體幫助或照顧等。
(3)表示謝意
預(yù)先對對方可能給予的幫助或照顧表示感謝。
2、介紹信寫作的注意事項(xiàng)
介紹信寫作的格式同一般書信大致相同，但一般不必寫信頭和信內(nèi)地址，而只在右上角處注明寫信的時(shí)間即可。
介紹信在選詞上要客氣，請求他人幫忙不可用命令的口吻。一定要預(yù)先在文中向收信人表示感謝，做到不失禮節(jié)。
介紹信篇幅無需太長，文字要簡潔，語言要流暢。
